My research interests are component & service-based software engineering and my ultimate objective is to ease the software engineering and maintenance processes by:
        - providing valuable support to software architects & developers,
        - making software as much autonomous (self-adaptable) as possible when faced to changes.
As a playground an application field, I'm interested in embedded, distributed, open & mobile software environments such as home automation systems.

My work has, for now, mainly focused on:
        - software component assembly & reuse.
        - evolution & versioning of component-based software architectures.
        - component & service directories.
        - reliability in open component or agent-based systems through exception handling.

Below are some fact lists:

- Published papers comprehensive list.

- (Co-)advised students & alumni.

- Collaborative colleagues. Gabriela Arévalo, Christophe Dony, Marianne Huchard, Mourad C. Oussalah, Chouki Tibermacine, Guy Tremblay and Sylvain Vauttier.

Alternatively, the table below provides a tentative classification of a selection of my papers to be used as entry points for my research.
